Agricultural Mixed Bonspiel

The Ayrshire Curlers Agricultural Mixed Bonspiel attracted sixteen rinks from near and far to participate in this competition which has been held annually for almost 40 years.

The winning rink was Skip Mungo Howat, Bill Alexander, Gordon Brown and Alison Alexander.

In second place was Skip Neil Kennedy, Alastair Middleton, Shela Kennedy and Susan Middleton.

In third place was the rink from Biggar with Skip Andrew Clark, Neil Lang, Jean Taylor and Willie Leiper.

Prizes on the day were presented by Mrs Mary Wilson.

Sponsorship was courtesy of Robert Wilson & Son,  William Kerr (Tractors)Ltd., Ayrshire Curlers Ltd.,  Rural Finance  and Bell Ingram.
