Gail Thomson and her Ayr team win Scottish Seniors

Gail Thomson with her Ayr team of Karen Kennedy (skip), Alison Cunningham, Gillian King and 5th man Sheila Kennedy won the Scottish Seniors Championships at Hamilton yesterday.

The game was tied after six ends and the opposition skip, Jackie Lockhart, blanked the seventh. Gail's team played a great last end and stole a single shot to win the trophy.

Congratulations to them.  They will now represent Scotland in the World Seniors at Oestersund in Sweden, from 20th to 27th April.

In the Mens competition, Neil Kennedy and his Ayrshire team lost their semi final by 5 shots to 3 to the eventual winners Hammy McMillan.
