Ottawa Valley visit Ayr

We were delighted to welcome 6 rinks from Ottawa Valley on Tuesday when they played against Ayr as part of their Tour to Scotland.  The Canadians were guests of Renfrewshire 12th Province  and the two groups have been hopping across the pond every four years (approximately) since 1979.

Pictured above are the top table with South Ayrshie Deputy Provost Mary Kilpatrick on Andrew Kerr's left and Ottawa Valley Captain Diane Smith on his right.

It was a thoroughly enjoyable occasion, with the Canadians winning by 48 shots to 41. They also enjoyed Passion Caterer's soup and haggis meal.
