Ross Low Finals
02 December 2014
Our correspondent reports on the action from the Final Day of the Ross Low Trophy.
Semi finals.
Dundonald had a very tight game against Crosshill. An extra end was required
due to some special shots from Skip Bert. Dundonald won the extra end to face Galston
Haymouth who had beaten Stair in the other semi.
Final.
Galston got off to a good start but Dundonald fought back well. At the second last end Galston skip, Jim Boswell, without last stone, played a spectacular double take out........ Unfortunately for Galston they were his own stones, leaving Dundonald lying three which quickly became a four due to Jim Miller's perfect draw.
With Dundonald three up the Galston team played well, lying three with one Dundonald stone to come. Jim Miller played a great shot which the Galston skip failed to remove.Jim Boswell tight again!!!!!!!!!!!
Well played Dundonald.
