Monday saw three Ayr rinks head south to take on Stranraer for the Agnew Plate. All three Ayr rinks could have come out on top but didn't !!
Vice President Lou's rink with Lady President Cathy, Andy and Jan Eccles lost by a shot ; Bert Andrew with Moira Drummond, Andrew Kerr and Anne Kerr lost by two and Jim Boswell who had Helen Lyburn, Pat and James Galloway in his rink lost by three resulting in the Agnew Plate being handed over (temporarily !) to Donald McColm, skip of the highest up Stranraer rink.
After the games the usual North West Castle hospitality was enjoyed by all.
