Ayr Disnae Virtual Curling Club

The curling season has already started for some as yesterday was the Braehead Virtual Invitation Curling Bonspiel.  

We entered two rink and were helped out with two good junior players. We had varying degrees of success with Charles Sutherlands rink of Janice Sutherland, Wendy Muir and Amy Collins winning their section with two good wins after a narrow loss. Unfortunately their good form didn't continue to the finals where they lost out. They are in the photo below with their prizes which luckily were not all alcoholic.

Our other rink of Logan Collins, Michael Carruthers, Karen McCreath and David Murray were third in their section with one win and two losses.

Everyone enjoyed their day and are looking forward to the new season.
