The funeral of Jim Henry, who sadly passed away earlier this week, will be held at Kirkoswald Parish Church on Wednesday 25th November at 11.00 am, thereafter to Kirkoswald Cemetery.
Alistair Henry has suggested that because the car parking at the church is limited, those wishing to attend might car-share where possible, use the car park at Souter's Inn and walk up the hill.
The family extends a warm welcome thereafter to Malin Court Hotel.
Jim was the longest serving member of Kirkoswald Curling Club, for many of these years the Secretary, and a former Club President.
He was also a former President and current Honorary President of the Gangrels CC and a former Board Member of Ayrshire Curlers PLC.
In his 60 plus years of curling he toured Canada in 1983 along with his two brothers Malcolm and Alan in the Strathcona Cup. He also served with distinction as the National Competition Convener of the RCCC.
He was a man who loved his curling. He had great integrity, knew how to do things the right way and was a source of wisdom to many of us. He will be sadly missed.Back to news <
