Kirsty Letton, Head of our Coaching Team, has highlighted the new Season's Coaching Structure which was announced last week.
"The dates for the above courses have just been put on the RCCC web site.
There is a comprehensive list of dates and venues with the a Level 2 Course
in August at Braehead and a Level 1 Course in Stranraer on 1st October. A
detailed structure of the courses is also on the website. Click here to see them.
These courses have been streamlined ever so slightly - making them more
participant friendly! - so I would encourage any member who is interested to
take the opportunity and join our group of qualified coaches at Ayr.
You do not have to be a top class expert curler to be able to coach - all
abilities can learn how to teach the basics and encourage more people to
take up this sport of curling. The Level 1 course is only for a matter of
hours on one evening."
