Margaret Agnew wins Henderson Bishop Playdowns

Four ladies’ rinks, skipped by Anne Kerr, Margaret Agnew, Catherine Eccles and Nora McCrossin, played in the semi finals on Sunday 19th November.

After close and nail biting games, Margaret Agnew and Catherine Eccles prevailed and went on to play in the final a short time later.

Watched by their supporters, a courageous battle ensued with a comfortable win for Margaret Agnew and her team of Gail Thomson, Alison Cunningham and Anne Anderson. (pictured above)

Because there were 8 rinks entries from Ayr, both rinks will now go forward to play in the Scottish finals of the Henderson Bishop, to be held at Hamilton from 26th February - 1st March, 2018.
