Doors Open Day is on Sunday 9th September and Ayr Curling Club is opening its doors from 11.00 to 3.00.
We have invited the skaters and ice hockey to take part too.
The object of the exercise is to raise the profile of the ice rink and its facilities to the general public who may not be aware of what is on offer.
We intend to guide visitors around the building and let them know about our history, clubs and facilities. The ice machines will be in operation on the large rink which should be of interest. Hopefully the ice men can answer any technical questions.
Tea and coffee and cakes will be available at a small charge.
Doors Open Day Ayrshire is run by Kyle and Carrick Civic Society and you can see what buildings are open by clicking on this link.
