Kelso wins the Scottish Schools

What a wonderful 3 days! 

Twenty four schools from across Scotland competed in this 3 day event. Curling was of a very high standard and teams played 3 x 8 end games a day. 

In the final game, St Joseph’s, who were the holders of the trophy, took on Kelso, with Kelso prevailing to take gold. 

 

Many thanks are due to those umpires, line scorers, caterers and icemen who worked to make the event such a success. Lots of positive comments were received. 

Special thanks are also due to the mums dads grandparents and siblings who gave up their time to transport competitors and to support the event. A lovely friendly atmosphere all weekend. 

We look forward to hosting the event again next year.
