If you’ve been in the ice rink this week you may have spotted a couple of dummies opposite the bar and, no they’re not Bobby Ireland and Bert Andrew, but two mannequins rescued by Lady VP Isla from Hourstons and dressed in jackets belonging to John McWhirter from his trip to Canada playing for the Scottish polis.
This Sunday the Mounties are coming to Ayr in the hope of getting their man. They’re coming in strength as well they might as it will take a good few of them to carry John off !
In fact we have six rinks paying Ayr a visit during their reciprocal tour of Scotland. Why not come along and watch ? The games start at 4.15 and it promises to be a great social afternoon and evening.
