Bell Quaich Bonspiel

This was another successful bonspiel with 12 rinks competing for some fine prizes on Sunday 12 January 2020.

These are fun days and the idea is to encourage new and less experienced players to join the "old hands", playing in a compettitive environment.

So it was today with Euan Lawrence's rink winning in fine fashion with 3 wins out of three. His rink had junior Carragh Hamilton leading, followed by the experienced Dave McIntyre and Robina Gilbertson. Dave had jetted in from Australia just 18 hours earlier and quickly dispelled rumours of jet-lag with some fine play.

David Hope was second with lead Ben Edwards, Hazel Steele and Mary Shaw.

Next bonspiel is the Highlander on 2 February 2020.
