The Development Group have advised that their AGM has been rescheduled from 3rd August to Wednesday 19th August at 7.30 pm in the Ice Rink
The Group was formed several years ago with the following remit:
increasing the level of participation in curling at Ayr Ice Rink
increasing the level of membership, activity and income of Ayr Curling Club, and
enhancing the status and standing of Ayr Curling Club.
Over time the personnel involved have changed but the commitment of the members has been significant. They have been instrumental in creating the role of Development Officer which has been a great asset for Ayr Ice Rink and which will continue.
They already have a couple of new volunteers joining the group this summer but there is usually space for more. If you're interested contact Lynne Rowley (lynne.rowley@yahoo.com ) and let her know.
