Playing Stranraer Ladies at Stranraer on 26th November Ayr ladies have managed a solid start to their Morton campaign for this season.
Ayr teams were as follows:
Margaret White (skip),Morag Evans, Moira Drummond and Elizabeth Shaw.
Sheila Kennedy (skip), Susan Middleton, Anne Anderson and Isla Robison.
Lorna Munro (skip), Gillian King, Gillian Macdonald and Mary Shaw.
Stranraer skips were Kay Adams, Katie Wright and Maureen Parker.
Games were played in the true spirit of curling and the final scores gave Ayr 4 points and Stranraer 2 points.
Shots scored were 20 to Ayr and 19 Stranraer.
