The Fred Olsen Cruise Lines National Masters starts this afternoon at Greenacres. Ayr are well represented in both the mens and the ladies championships.
Jim Boswell and his team of Charlie Steele, Charles Jackson and Robert Boyd take on Ken Horton's Greenacres rink at 3.00, and they have two more games tomorrow and a further two on Saturday.The top two teams in their section will qualify for the semi finals and final on Sunday.
In the ladies competition Aileen McCorkell leads a team of Robina Gilbertson, Alison Young, Fiona Bain and Kirsty Letton. They have three games, one tomorrow afternoon and two on Saturday in their section. They were beaten in the semi finals last season.
