Just a reminder that this years RCCC Annual General Meeting is on Saturday 27th June at 14.00 and that it will be held virtually through Zoom due to the Coronavirus restrictions. You will need to register in advance for attendance at the AGM.
If you have not done so already I would ask you to look at the Scottish Curlings website and in particular through the news section to the ‘Notice: Virtual RCCC AGM (2020)’ which was posted on 5th June and which details how to register and vote.
If you’ve been watching Facebook you’ll have seen that team selection for the World Championship is a very hotly debated subject and there is a motion at the AGM to reverse the decision of the Scottish Curling Board. It is important for all Royal Club members to consider the arguments and whatever way they decide to use their vote to ensure that the decision is made by as many members as possible.
This year Andrew Kerr will becomIng our next RCCC President and it is hoped that a good number of Ayr curlers will be on Zoom to support him.
