On Sunday evening 14/11/21, Fairywell Curling Club won the Ayr playdowns for the Rink Championship, with a 6 - 2 win against Galston 1.
Fairywell with Shaun Rennie at skip, Alistair McHarg at third, Allan Sloan at second and Aileen Mcjannet at lead, now go onto the national finals at Forfar ice rink in March. Galston 1 as runners up, and Sorn as 3rd place play off winners against Ayr & Alloway also qualify.
