Another busy week last week with the Maxwell Trophy on Tuesday, the Waldie Griffiths on Wed and Final of the Province Knock out on Thursday.
In the Maxwell Trophy Semi Finals on Tuesday morning Ayr beat Borders Ice Rink 4-2 in one semi final with Greenacres progressing to the Final with a 4 -2 over Forfar.
In the afternoon it was a closely fought Final with Ayr narrowly losing out to local rivals Greenacres 4 - 2
On Wednesday Ayrshire Province hosted Fife province in the Waldie Griffiths Trophy. Scores were as follows:

On Thursday evening Sorn and Stewarton Heather had the Ice Rink to themselves to play the Province Knockout Final. After a tight couple of ends Stewarton eased out to a 6-1 lead after 4 ends, with Sorn fighting back to 6-4 after 6 ends, but after Stewarton took a 2 in the seventh end to lead 8 - 4, Sorn conceded the game and Stewarton Heather claimed the Province Title again and will go forward to the National Finals at Greenacres in November.
