WATSON TROPHY / MILLER CUP

Eight rinks competed for the Watson Trophy which was presented by Past President of Ayr Curling Club, Mrs Sheila Watson in l983 making this ther 40th Anniversary.

Winner was Skip Katey Pieroni, Lillian McIntyre, Pat Galloway and Ann Naismith.

Sponsorship was courtesy of Lady Par, Troon.

Eight rinks also competed for the Miller Cup or  "The Grannies" as it is fondly known.

Winning rink was Skip Lorna Alexander, Jean Morton, Alison Young and Jean Pearce.
